Computer Experiments

These two multiple imageries below are pieces I created in order to form an even larger pattern than the pattern shown in a singular picture. By making one photograph convey a variety of different photographs, I have presented an endless amount of patterns and allowed each one to compliment the other.

These two triptych's below are photographs I put together in Photoshop after editing each picture individually to change the colour of the subject. Changing the colour of the subject is something that I like to do, in order to see if there are tones that work better together and compliment each other more thoroughly to give me a more successful outcome. As I wouldn't want to include each picture separately in a post as it is just the colour I've changed in the editing process, I put them altogether in a triptych to make an even stronger outcome.

This technique below is called repetition, which I created in Photoshop by flipping one image three times and piecing it together in Photoshop, using the grid layout to ensure each picture went together symmetrically to the other. I explored this technique in my coursework and was fascinated by the outcome, as it exaggerated the pattern I'd already captured by multiplying the same image three times.

Posterize is the effect that I used for this portrait below, found in Photoshop. I enhanced the brightness of it after I applied it to the photograph to create that Summer feel. I thought that this technique looked extremely eccentric and clever, adding that finishing touch to the piece.

I added a large selection of different layers of the same photograph in Photoshop and altered the opacity of each piece to create this blurry but interesting photojoiner.

I used the select tool on Photoshop to individually select each kiwi slice and change its colour by altering the colour balance in the saturation tool. I used bright rainbow colours for this piece as I wanted it to pop from the frame, and provide the connotation that healthy eating can be fun.
